Ray J reports ongoing heart and liver health issues

Singer Ray J has publicly stated that he has not yet sought medical follow-up for ongoing issues regarding his heart and liver. In a recent social media video, he acknowledged that he feels these organs are malfunctioning but expressed a lack of urgency to have them professionally evaluated.

This follows a hospitalization in Las Vegas in January 2026, where he was treated for heart pain and pneumonia. During that period, Ray J claimed his heart was functioning at only 25 percent and noted that doctors had prescribed several medications, including Lipitor, Jardiance, and Entresto. He previously attributed his health struggles to past heavy use of alcohol and Adderall.

Following his recent comments, his sister, singer Brandy, responded on social media, offering support and stating her intention to help care for him. Other social media users have expressed a mix of concern for his physical health and his mental state regarding his medical decisions.
