Ray J defeats Orlando Brown in celebrity boxing match

Ray J defeated Orlando Brown via unanimous decision in a three-round celebrity boxing match held at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on August 15. The event was part of the Zeus Network undercard for the Claressa Shields and Kaye Scott fight.

The bout served as a redemption attempt for Ray J following a knockout loss and hospitalization in May. The matchup followed a period of public tension and verbal sparring between the two entertainers, including an incident where Brown struck Ray J with a stack of cash during a press conference.

Celebrities including Usher and Floyd Mayweather attended the event. Ray J’s sister, R&B singer Brandy, was also present to support him. Following the victory, Ray J expressed intentions to record new music inspired by his children.
