Raydium’s RAY token reaches $2.12 amid new asset launches
Raydium’s RAY token reached a recent high of $2.12 during a period of increased activity within the Solana ecosystem. The price movement coincided with the integration of new assets on the decentralized exchange, including the launch of the USDv dollar stablecoin by Solomon Labs and a Solana-based version of Injective (INJ).
To support the USDv launch, Raydium committed an initial $1 million from its treasury to the stablecoin and pledged to support its trading pairs. The addition of these assets has contributed to a surge in trading volume; Raydium’s network trading volume doubled to $185 million over a 24-hour period, while futures volume increased threefold to $25.25 million.
While the $2.12 mark represents a significant recent milestone, it remains below the token’s all-time high of $16.83 recorded in September 2021.
