Raymond James expands investment banking and leadership teams

Raymond James is expanding its leadership and specialized advisory teams through several key appointments. The firm has hired multiple managing directors from rival Jefferies to bolster its consumer and retail investment banking unit, including Steve Tricarico, Russ Shoemaker, and Hub Orr. Additionally, Drew Weisman has joined the firm to strengthen its leveraged finance practice.

In a separate leadership move, Anna Pollins has been appointed as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) in an expanded role. Pollins will oversee the company’s platform business, business development, central financial planning, guidance services, marketing, and Charles Stanley Direct. CEO Kim Jenson stated that consolidating these commercial and proposition capabilities under a single leader is a step toward the firm’s next phase of growth.
