Brazilian skateboarder Rayssa Leal won the Rio Takeover stage of the Street League Skateboarding (SLS) at the Maracanãzinho gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro. Despite experiencing pain following a fall the previous day, Leal secured the title with a total score of 20.9.

She narrowly defeated Japan’s Momiji Nishiya, who finished second with 20.7, by a margin of only 0.02 points. Spain’s Daniela Terol took third place. This victory marks Leal’s second trophy of the season, following her win in Sydney, Australia, positioning her as a strong contender for the SLS Super Crown.

In the men’s competition, Canadian Cordano Russel claimed the title with a total of 27.9. Brazilian Giovanni Vianna finished as runner-up with 26.9, while Wallace Gabriel took third place.
