Rayssa Leal withdraws from SLS Paris due to foot injury
Brazilian skateboarder Rayssa Leal has withdrawn from the Street League Skateboarding (SLS) Paris stop held at the Roland Garros complex. Leal announced via social media that she injured her foot during a training session on Friday. While she clarified that the injury is not serious, she chose to withdraw from the competition to focus on recovery for upcoming season events.
Despite her withdrawal from the competition, the Olympic medalist attended the event to watch the semifinals. Brazilian skater Giovanni Vianna remains part of the elite international lineup competing in the event. The SLS Paris stage features high-level street skateboarding and aims to connect urban culture with the local French fan base.
