Raza Murad criticizes Bollywood stars for skipping Mushtaq Khan’s funeral

Veteran actor Raza Murad has criticized the Bollywood film industry for the lack of prominent stars attending the funeral of actor Mushtaq Khan. Khan passed away on September 24 following a battle with cancer.

In a video shared on Instagram, Murad expressed disappointment that major industry figures did not attend the last rites held on September 25, questioning why they could not spare time to pay their respects. Murad praised Khan for achieving success through his work rather than through sycophancy, noting that his fame and wealth were secondary to his professional merit.

While many major stars were absent, industry colleagues including Annu Kapoor, Gajendra Chauhan, and Rajpal Yadav were in attendance. Kapoor offered an emotional tribute, noting that he had worked with Khan approximately six months prior in Kanpur, where the actor appeared cheerful despite his illness.

Mushtaq Khan was known for his roles in several Hindi films, including 'Welcome', 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', and 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke'.
