Razer announces Base Station V3 Chroma smart headset stand

Razer has officially announced the Base Station V3 Chroma, an intelligent headset stand designed to automate gaming setups. The device features integrated headset detection that works with any headset compatible with Razer Synapse.

When a user removes their headset from the stand, the system automatically triggers pre-configured profiles. These profiles can adjust audio and microphone inputs, change Razer Chroma RGB lighting, launch specific games or streaming software, and execute macros. When the headset is returned to the stand, settings revert to default.

The accessory also serves as a connectivity hub, featuring two USB 3.1 ports for peripherals or wireless dongles. It includes a 12-zone RGB lighting strip and supports software-enabled virtual 7.1 surround sound for analog headsets. The product is priced at approximately $80 USD.
