Razer unveils Prio, a foldable mobile gaming controller

Razer has announced the Razer Prio, a new ultra-portable, foldable gaming controller designed for mobile devices. The controller is compatible with iPhone (iOS 18) and Android (Android 14 or newer) smartphones with screens up to 7 inches.

When folded, the device is approximately the size of a credit card (107 mm x 67 mm x 23 mm) and weighs 101 grams. It connects via USB-C, eliminating the need for Bluetooth pairing or internal batteries. The Prio features a full-sized layout including low-profile analog sticks, a four-way D-pad, face buttons, bumpers, and triggers.

A key technical feature is the use of capacitive analog sticks, which Razer states are designed to reduce stick drift by using high-resolution sensing without physical contact points. The controller supports local gaming as well as cloud streaming services such as Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, and PS Remote Play.
