Razer BlackWidow V4 75% keyboards reviewed: OLED screen, hot‑swap switches and high‑speed polling
Razer’s BlackWidow V4 series includes compact 75% keyboards aimed at gamers. The standard BlackWidow V4 75% offers orange tactile switches that are hot‑swappable for 3‑pin or 5‑pin alternatives, up to an 8,000 Hz polling rate, anti‑ghosting, N‑key rollover, doubleshot ABS keycaps, a leatherette wristrest and two internal foam plates for quieter operation. It connects via wired USB‑C and, after a limited‑time discount, retails for US$129.99 on Amazon.
The BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% builds on the same layout but adds a 2‑inch OLED screen, a command dial, side LED strips, a heavier aluminum‑plastic construction, PBT double‑shot keycaps and a magnetic leather‑like wrist rest. The Pro model also provides hot‑swap sockets, pre‑lubed stabilizers and other customisation‑friendly features such as foam plates and tape‑mod options. Both keyboards integrate Razer Synapse software for RGB lighting, macro programming and performance settings.
