Razer unveils Basilisk V4 Pro ergonomic gaming mouse series

Razer has announced the Basilisk V4 series, headlined by the flagship Basilisk V4 Pro ergonomic gaming mouse. The new Pro model features 14 customizable controls, including a repositioned multi-function trigger, a third side button, and a new M1 edge button. It is equipped with the Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, offering up to 50,000 DPI, and supports an 8,000 Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes via HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2.

Key technical upgrades include the HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2, which provides four scrolling modes: Tactile, Precision Tactile, Free-Spin, and Smart-Reel. The mouse also utilizes Gen-4 Optical Mouse Switches, rated for 100 million clicks, and features 7-zone Razer Chroma RGB lighting. Despite the added features, the V4 Pro is approximately 12 grams lighter than its predecessor.

Alongside the flagship, Razer introduced the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed, a more streamlined model featuring the Focus X 33K Optical Sensor and 12 customizable buttons. The lineup is completed by the Mouse Dock V2 Pro, a wireless charging station that functions as an 8,000 Hz wireless transceiver and includes 8-zone Chroma RGB lighting.
