Razer Launches 8KHz Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard Series
Razer Japan株式会社 announced on July 31 that it will sell the Razer Huntsman V3 HE Magnetic 8KHz series, a new line of gaming keyboards using Hall Effect magnetic switches. The series is offered in two form factors – a tenkeyless model and a 65% mini – and combines the switches with a true 8000 Hz HyperPolling rate, delivering an average input latency of 0.60 ms, which the company says is about 8 % faster than the closest competing magnetic‑switch keyboards.
Key features include adjustable actuation points from 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm, Rapid Trigger mode, Snap Flex, Dynamic Keystroke, Instant Cancel Control and Dual‑Keypress Priority, all aimed at competitive esports play. The keyboards support Razer Synapse Web for cloud‑based configuration without installing software. Durability is rated at 100 million keystrokes. Pricing is ¥20,980 (≈ $140) for the tenkeyless model and ¥17,980 (≈ $120) for the mini, with sales beginning on the announcement date through Razer.com, RazerStore and selected retailers worldwide.
A US‑based review highlighted the premium feel, low latency and the built‑in calibration tool that compensates for magnetic interference, concluding that the Huntsman V3 HE offers high‑end performance at a relatively affordable price for serious gamers.
