Razer launches Huntsman V3 Pro Low-Profile TKL keyboard
Razer has expanded its Huntsman V3 Pro TKL lineup with the introduction of the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-Profile Tenkeyless 8KHz. This new model features a thinner chassis and shorter keycaps designed specifically for competitive gaming, providing a lower typing angle and reduced travel distance.
The keyboard utilizes analog-optical switches that use light beams to track key depth rather than a simple mechanical contact point. This technology allows for adjustable actuation points in 0.1 mm increments between 0.1 mm and 2.8 mm. Key features include Rapid Trigger, which eliminates fixed reset points, and Dynamic Keystroke, which can assign up to four different actions to a single key based on press depth.
Technical specifications include an 8,000 Hz polling rate. Razer claims an average latency of 0.39 ms, which they state is a 52 percent reduction compared to the fastest competing models. The device allows for settings to be saved directly to the keyboard or adjusted via Synapse Web without requiring installed software.
