Razer launches Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Haptics Edition headset

Razer has announced the launch of the Razer Kraken V4 X Sensa HD Haptics Edition, a wired gaming headset designed to provide physical tactile feedback during gameplay. Utilizing Razer Sensa HD Haptics technology, the headset is compatible with over 100 PC games, translating in-game audio and events into layered physical sensations.

The haptic system distinguishes itself from standard vibration by responding to the intensity, duration, and position of in-game occurrences. For example, the sensation of a distant explosion differs from a point-blank shot. The device operates in two modes: Dynamic Haptics, which uses effects authored by game developers for specific events like weapon fire, and Audio-to-Haptics (A2H), which uses tuned profiles to generate feedback from general game audio.

Technical specifications include Razer TriForce 40mm Drivers for detailed audio reproduction, 7.1 surround sound support, and a HyperClear Cardioid Mic. The headset also features FlowKnit memory foam cushions for comfort and Razer Chroma RGB lighting.
