Razer launches Mako series compact gaming speakers

Razer has announced the Mako series, a new line of compact desktop gaming speakers consisting of two models: the Razer Mako and the Razer Mako X.

The flagship Razer Mako features a 2.1-channel configuration with two 2.75-inch full-range drivers and a dedicated 3.5-inch forward-firing subwoofer. It delivers 40W RMS and 60W peak output, with a frequency response reaching down to 45Hz. The design includes angled drivers for ear-level sound projection and supports 7.1 virtual surround sound. Connectivity options include USB-C for power and audio, Bluetooth 5.3, and a 3.5mm jack. It also features rear-projection Razer Chroma RGB lighting.

The Razer Mako X is a 2.0-channel setup designed for users with limited desk space. It utilizes the same 2.75-inch drivers but replaces the external subwoofer with built-in passive radiators. This model provides 30W RMS and 45W peak output, with a frequency response starting at 60Hz. The Mako X includes 10-zone Razer Chroma RGB underglow lighting. Both models support USB-C, Bluetooth 5.3, and 3.5mm connections.
