Razer launches Tartarus V2 Pro one-handed gaming keypad

Razer has released the Tartarus V2 Pro, a refreshed one-handed ergonomic gaming keypad designed to replace conventional keyboard layouts for specialized play. The device features 31 fully programmable keys and buttons, each equipped with RGB lighting, and includes an adjustable palm rest for extended use.

Key hardware upgrades include improved optical switches with a wider actuation depth range and an analog TMR thumbpad for finer directional control. The keypad introduces new proprietary input technologies: ‘Snap Flex’, which allows two actions to be attached to a single press, and ‘Snap Tap’, which prevents two selected keys from being actuated simultaneously to avoid conflicting inputs, such as during strafing in first-person shooters.

All inputs are configurable via Razer’s Synapse software. The Tartarus V2 Pro is currently available for $200.
