Razer launches Wolverine V4 Pro and Tournament Edition controllers

Razer has introduced the Wolverine V4 Pro and Wolverine V4 Tournament Edition, new gaming controllers officially designed for Xbox and PC. Both models focus on competitive play, featuring asymmetric stick layouts optimized for FPS and racing titles.

A key technical advancement is the implementation of contactless capacitive sensors in the joysticks. This technology aims to reduce stick drift and mechanical wear compared to traditional potentiometers, offering better resolution and resistance to magnetic interference. On PC, the controllers support polling rates of up to 8,000 Hz, while Xbox Series X|S support reaches 250 Hz. The Pro model also offers wireless connectivity with high polling rates.

The Wolverine V4 Pro includes customizable features such as a magnetic faceplate, interchangeable thumbstick caps, removable rear buttons, and trigger locks for adjustable pull distance. The Pro model is priced at approximately $200 (209.99 euros), while the Tournament Edition is priced at approximately $110 (109.99 euros).
