Razer to release Prio pocket-sized smartphone controller
Razer is set to release the ‘Prio’, a pocket-sized smartphone gamepad, on October 9. The device is designed to clamp a smartphone between its left and right grips, offering a foldable form factor for easy portability.
The controller features Razer’s first use of non-contact capacitive sensors in its thumbsticks to provide precise, low-latency movement. It includes face buttons, bumpers, and triggers equipped with quiet tactile switches, making it suitable for use in public spaces like trains. The device is powered via USB-C directly from the smartphone and is compatible with the Razer Cortex Mobile app for iOS and Android.
