Razer unveils Huntsman V3 Tenkeyless 8KHz esports keyboard

Razer announced the Huntsman V3 Tenkeyless 8KHz keyboard, aimed at competitive esports players. The device uses second‑generation optical analog switches that detect key travel with light sensors, eliminating mechanical debounce, reducing wear and making the switches immune to electromagnetic interference. A HyperPolling rate of 8,000 Hz provides input updates eight times faster than typical gaming keyboards, lowering latency to roughly 0.125 ms. Users can adjust the rapid‑trigger point and activation threshold via key combinations, with settings stored in onboard memory for instant use on any system. The tenkeyless layout improves portability and ergonomics for tournament settings. Each switch is individually lubricated and paired with internal foam damping to deliver a smooth, quiet keystroke feel. The keyboard can be configured without dedicated software, though a lightweight web‑based Synapse interface is available. It is priced at €179.99 and is available now through Razer’s website and authorized retailers.
