Razgrad election day begins without reported incidents

Election day in the Razgrad region has commenced under normal conditions, according to local police. Security for polling stations and election materials was maintained throughout the previous night without incident. At 7:00 AM, all section spaces and materials were officially handed over to the Sectional Election Commission.

Approximately 300 personnel from the Razgrad Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, the Fire Safety and Civil Protection Department, Border Police, and the Gendarmerie have been deployed to ensure order and protect ballot boxes and machines. Law enforcement officers will be stationed outside polling locations and will only intervene to restore order upon an official request from a section election commission chairperson.

Strict regulations are in place: armed individuals, persons exhibiting indecent behavior, and the use of phones or cameras to record votes are prohibited. To facilitate voting rights, identity document services are operating from 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM to issue certificates for lost, stolen, or damaged identification documents.
