Razgrad-Poroishte road repairs to begin following weather improvement

Emergency repairs on the III-206 republican road between Razgrad and the village of Poroishte are scheduled to begin around November 5-6, contingent on improved weather conditions. The project involves patching approximately 10,000 square meters of road surface.

The decision to initiate urgent repairs follows a citizen report accompanied by video footage documenting the critical state of the road. This led to an extraordinary meeting of the Regional Council for Road Safety on October 9, resulting in a formal request to the Road Infrastructure Agency for targeted funding and immediate assignment of the works.

Funding for the project has already been allocated. Officials expect the repairs to be completed within two weeks of commencement to ensure the road is in better condition before the winter season begins.
