Razvan Marin poised for Romania starting role following AEK form

Romanian media outlets have praised the recent performances of midfielder Razvan Marin, following his successful form with the Greek club AEK Athens. Due to his strong play and recent goal in the Champions League, there is high expectation that national team coach Gheorghe Hagi will include him in the starting lineup for Romania's Nations League opener against Sweden.

During a press conference, Marin expressed confidence in the national team's preparation, stating that the squad is mature and ready to compete against any opponent. He noted that the team's mindset throughout the week has been focused on winning. Marin also mentioned that while he hopes to maintain his individual form, his primary goal is to contribute to the collective success of the team, noting that Hagi has challenged the players to reach beyond their current 50% capacity.
