RB Leipzig goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi linked with Villarreal move
RB Leipzig’s long‑serving goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, 36, has drawn interest from Spanish club Villarreal. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano and German media report that negotiations are advanced, though no official bid has been made. Gulacsi, who extended his contract with Leipzig until summer 2027, could leave after 11 seasons and 362 appearances.
His potential departure would clear the way for 24‑year‑old Belgian keeper Maarten Vandevoordt, who joined Leipzig from Racing Genk for €10 million in July 2024.
