RB Leipzig targets Said El Mala and Strasbourg players
RB Leipzig is actively pursuing several young talents to strengthen its squad. The German club is reportedly preparing a significant transfer package for Cologne attacker Said El Mala. The proposed deal includes a guaranteed €50 million fee, with an additional €5 million in easily achievable bonuses and another €5 million tied to exceptional sporting success. El Mala, a German U21 international, is said to be open to the Bundesliga move.
In addition to the pursuit of El Mala, Leipzig is targeting RC Strasbourg players Samir El Mourabet and Diego Moreira. Discussions have reportedly begun between the two clubs to study the feasibility of these operations. El Mourabet, a 20-year-old Moroccan international, and Moreira, a 22-year-old Belgian international, both align with Leipzig’s strategy of recruiting high-potential young players.
Leipzig is also monitoring Castello Lukeba, a 23-year-old French centre-back, with a release clause estimated at approximately €80 million. Interest in Lukeba has reportedly drawn attention from other major European clubs, including Chelsea.
