RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande wins Player of the Season and sparks transfer interest

Yan Diomande was voted RB Leipzig’s Player of the Season for 2025‑26 after a breakthrough Bundesliga campaign in which he scored 12 goals and provided nine assists. He also secured the league’s Rookie of the Season award, highlighted by a hat‑trick in Leipzig’s 6‑0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

His performances have attracted interest from several top clubs. Liverpool, Paris Saint‑Germain, Manchester United, Manchester City and Bayern Munich have all been linked with a move, with his market value reported between €90 million and €130 million. Diomande, who grew up supporting PSG, said he would enjoy playing in France. He is also preparing for Ivory Coast’s World Cup campaign.
