Róbert Bezák to teach at University of Trnava
Emeritus Archbishop Róbert Bezák will provide teaching assistance at the Theological Faculty of the University of Trnava. According to Dean Remigiusz Górski, Bezák is not being hired for a regular full-time or part-time position. Instead, his involvement is a practical organizational solution to provide temporary pedagogical support for the course ‘Introduction to Moral Theology’.
The faculty noted that the current instructor for the subject is managing an excessive workload and additional academic senate duties, leading to a request for assistance. Bezák will serve as an external instructor on a contract basis for the current academic semester. His specific scope of work and any potential future involvement remain undetermined and will depend on the faculty's future staffing needs.
In March 2025, Bezák previously delivered a public lecture at the university regarding value relativism and the meaning of life, an event attended by four bishops and introduced by the Apostolic Nuncio to Slovakia, Nicola Girasoli.
