RC Celta and Conxemar sign seven-year partnership

RC Celta and the seafood industry association Conxemar have signed a seven-year partnership agreement. The alliance aims to promote healthy habits and increase global awareness of the fishing industry through the football club’s extensive media reach, which includes a television audience of 133 million across 175 countries.

As part of the deal, the ‘Gol’ stand at the Balaídos stadium will bear the Conxemar name. Additionally, a dedicated space will be established within the stadium to serve as a promotional and commercial platform for Conxemar’s member companies.

Regarding stadium naming rights, Celta President Marián Mouriño clarified that the current naming agreement with Abanca remains in effect. Any potential change to the stadium's commercial name will not be considered until the existing contract expires in 2028.
