RC Deportivo unveils ‘Voa’ anthem for 120th anniversary

RC Deportivo has unveiled ‘Voa’, a new official anthem created to commemorate the club’s 120th anniversary. Composed by musician Xoel López, the piece aims to capture the identity of A Coruña and the connection between the club and its supporters.

The production features various collaborations, including the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, bagpiper Susana Seivane, and several local musical collectives such as Xacarandaina and the Kilomberos de Monte Alto. The anthem is intended to serve as a symbol of the club’s current era as it celebrates its anniversary and returns to the Primera División.

The song is scheduled to premiere at the Abanca Riazor stadium during the Teresa Herrera Trophy, with Xoel López and participating artists expected to be in attendance.
