RC Lens has announced the departure of head coach Dino Toppmöller after only six official matches. The club stated the separation was by mutual agreement following discussions regarding the organization and functioning of the technical staff. Toppmöller, who joined in June to succeed Pierre Sage, has agreed to waive a substantial portion of his contractual compensation.
The decision follows internal disagreements over the restructuring of the coaching staff.
