RC Lens targets Sabah FK midfielder Umarali Rahmonaliyev

RC Lens is reportedly exploring the acquisition of Umarali Rahmonaliyev, a 22-year-old defensive midfielder currently playing for Sabah FK in Azerbaijan. The French club is looking to strengthen its midfield with young players possessing high growth potential.

Rahmonaliyev, an Uzbek international, has been a key figure in Sabah FK’s recent success, including their league title. Scouts have noted his ball recovery abilities, passing quality, and tactical reading of the game. His contract with the Azerbaijani club runs until December 2028, meaning any transfer would require negotiations.

While no official offer has been confirmed by either club, Rahmonaliyev is estimated to have a market value of approximately 1.2 million euros. The player has also gained experience on the European stage through Champions League preliminary rounds.
