RCD Mallorca players arrested for alleged corruption of minors
Two youth players from RCD Mallorca have been arrested by the National Police for alleged corruption of minors. The incident occurred on August 14 at a residence in Palma where several junior players reside.
According to investigations, a minor over the age of 16 voluntarily engaged in a sexual encounter with one of the players. However, a second player, who was hiding in a wardrobe, recorded the encounter without the minor's knowledge or consent.
RCD Mallorca has taken immediate action by terminating the contracts of both players and expelling them from the club. One suspect is an adult (18 years old) and has been released following a court appearance, while the other is a minor whose case has been referred to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.
