RCMP arrests linked to break‑ins in Campbell River and retail thefts in Steinbach, Canada

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are investigating a series of break‑ins at three downtown businesses in Campbell River, British Columbia. The suspects entered the premises by smashing front glass doors, stealing items such as cell phones, clothing and tools, and causing substantial property damage. Police have released surveillance images and are urging the public to identify the two individuals involved.

In Steinbach, Manitoba, RCMP officers apprehended three suspects connected to two retail thefts and the use of a stolen black Ford Bronco. The thieves stole more than $3,000 worth of merchandise from two stores. A drone was used to track the suspects after they fled into a field, leading to their arrest without incident. All stolen goods were recovered and returned to the stores. The three individuals, all from Winnipeg, face charges ranging from theft under $5,000 to possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
