RCMP investigates Christian nationalist leader Tanya Gaw

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) are investigating Tanya Gaw, the founder of the Christian nationalist organization Action4Canada, regarding social media posts and website content. The investigation, conducted in Surrey, British Columbia, is being carried out under Section 319(2) of the Criminal Code, which addresses the willful promotion of hatred against an identifiable group. The content in question reportedly concerns Muslims and Islam.

Gaw has not disputed the existence of the content but has characterized the investigation as “lawfare,” claiming it is an attempt by Muslims to use the legal system to silence opposition. She argued that Canada is a Christian nation bound by the King’s coronation oath and maintained that free speech and expression are inherent rights of Canadians.
