RD Fashion Week hosts inclusion parade themed Florecer

The RD Fashion Week featured the ‘Florecer’ (To Flourish) Inclusion Parade, an event dedicated to promoting a society free of prejudice and discrimination. This year’s edition specifically honored breast cancer survivors, highlighting their resilience.

Attorney General Yeni Berenice Reynoso and Minister of Justice Antoliano Peralta led the opening, emphasizing the importance of empathy, solidarity, and human dignity. The parade included more than 120 models representing various populations, including people with disabilities and individuals deprived of liberty, to promote social reintegration and visibility.

The event was organized by the General Directorate of Penitentiary and Correctional Services in collaboration with the Public Ministry, with support from the Ministry of Tourism and the Refidomsa Foundation.
