Rádio Eldorado to return to São Paulo FM in October

Rádio Eldorado is set to return to the FM dial in São Paulo on October 7, occupying the 107.9 MHz frequency. The station, owned by Grupo Estado, had been off the air since May 2026 following the end of a partnership with Fundação Brasil 2000.

The return follows significant listener mobilization, including a petition signed by over 10,000 people and public protests. This new phase is supported by a partnership with the insurance company Porto, which has acquired naming rights but will not immediately attach its brand to the station's name.

The station aims to modernize by expanding its digital presence through video content, streaming, and live broadcasts on platforms like YouTube. While approximately 90% of the previous programming will be maintained, the station will also introduce new content, such as a daily program hosted by Juliana Wallauer.
