Rádio Nacional to broadcast Brazil's DF Instrumental Fest 2026 live

On Saturday, 18 June 2026, Rádio Nacional's Brasília FM 96.1 MHz and AM 980 kHz will transmit the DF Instrumental Fest 2026 live from Sesc Taguatinga Sul in the Federal District. The festival, now in its fourth edition, showcases Brazilian instrumental music and contemporary production, featuring artists such as Tom Zé, Metá Metá, Edgard Scandurra Trio, Roberto Corrêa, Alberto Salgado, Victor Angeleas, Maísa Arantes, Choro no Eixo with Márcio Marinho and Calango Careta. It presents a mix of contemporary instrumental works, choro, popular culture, experimental rock and Afro‑Brazilian sounds, promoting interaction across generations and musical styles.

Rádio Nacional operates eight owned stations across the country—Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasília, Recife, São Luís, the Amazon region and Alto Solimões—allowing the broadcast to reach a nationwide audience. In addition to terrestrial transmission, the shows will be streamed online and shared through Rádio Nacional’s social‑media channels.
