Rødovre Mighty Bulls undergoes ownership changes

The Danish ice hockey club Rødovre Mighty Bulls has announced a significant restructuring of its ownership group. Five prominent investors, including NHL player Lars Eller and football stars Daniel Wass and Andreas Maxsø, have exited the ownership circle. They are joined by Peter Pihl Tömörkényi and Anders Gjessing in their departure.

The club credited these five individuals with providing crucial financial contributions and engagement that helped keep the professional organization afloat. Despite this support, the club faces ongoing financial challenges, having reported a deficit of 2.3 million DKK for the 2025/26 fiscal year.

Following the departures, the remaining owners include Jan Bech Andersen, Jesper Andreasen, and Danny Longhi Andreasen. The club stated that its current priority is not maximizing profit, but rather achieving a break-even balance. Moving forward, Rødovre aims to attract new investors to strengthen its capital base, enhance management resources, and develop sponsorship opportunities.
