Rădăuți Municipal Hospital chapel re-consecrated

The Chapel of the Holy Doctors Cosmas and Damian, located within the courtyard of the Rădăuți Municipal Hospital, was re-consecrated on September 19, 2026. This ceremony marked the completion of an extensive restoration, renovation, and beautification project conducted between 2021 and 2026.

The service was led by Bishop Macarie of Northern Europe and Bishop-Vicar Damaschin Dornean, representing the Archbishop of Suceava and Rădăuți. The ritual included the blessing of the altar, which contains relics of saintly martyrs, and the sanctification of the chapel's interior. A Holy Liturgy was subsequently held on a special podium in the hospital courtyard, featuring musical accompaniment from the Mira Choir of Iași.
