Área Carrascosa opens in Cuenca to boost rural tourism

The new Área Carrascosa facility has opened in Carrascosa del Campo, a town in the Campos del Paraíso region, specifically designed to serve motorhomes, caravans, and campers. The project aims to boost rural tourism in the Cuenca province by providing a secure and comfortable space for travelers to stay while visiting nearby historical sites such as Huete, Segóbriga, and the Castle of Belmonte.

The initiative received advisory and technical support from the Invierte en Cuenca project, an initiative of the Confederación de Empresarios de Cuenca (CEOE CEPYME Cuenca). Entrepreneur Juan Cebrián, who established the area, met with technical staff to coordinate the support provided by the organization. The facility includes amenities such as industrial laundry services, vending machines, and a community room available to both users and local residents.
