REACH Centre for Autism to open in Surrey

The REACH Child and Youth Development Society is establishing a new REACH Centre for Autism in Surrey, British Columbia. The facility will be located in a house-like building on city-owned land at 7010 King George Blvd, which the City of Surrey has leased to the organization for $1 per year under a five-year agreement.

The centre aims to provide a comprehensive range of services for children, youth, and families, including assessments, behavioural intervention, speech-language and occupational therapy, counselling, and respite care. The project is intended to address the increasing demand for autism-related services and long wait times in the province. The facility is targeted to open in early 2027.
