Reacher franchise expands with Season 5 and Neagley spin-off

The Reacher franchise on Prime Video continues to see significant commercial success, with the fourth season recently surpassing one billion viewing minutes for five consecutive weeks. The series remains the top overall streaming title in the United States according to Nielsen data.

Following the conclusion of season four, Amazon has confirmed a fifth season is in production in Toronto. Author Lee Child revealed that the upcoming season will adapt his twentieth novel, ‘Make Me’. Child described the source material as a ‘brutal’ and ‘really repugnant’ story, expressing uncertainty regarding how the platform will translate its dark central crime for a mass television audience.

The franchise is also expanding through a spin-off series titled Neagley, starring Maria Sten as Francis Neagley. Child noted that Sten’s performance was so impactful that it necessitated the development of the character into her own series. Both Reacher and Neagley productions utilize Toronto as a primary filming location.
