In the literary services sector, Lit Circle is launching a new platform designed to connect readers with local author events at independent bookstores. Initially focusing on the Chicago area, the service aims to expand into a nationwide event guide.

Additionally, Rakuten Kobo announced that its e-readers will return to major US retail shelves through Best Buy. This follows a period where the devices were unavailable in major outlets after Walmart ended its partnership with the company earlier in 2024.
