Reading & Leeds Festival announces major 2026 site overhaul

The Reading & Leeds Festival has announced a major infrastructure overhaul for its 2026 edition, scheduled for the bank holiday weekend from August 27 to August 30. The revamp will involve a complete reimagining of the festival sites at Little John’s Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds.

Key changes include a new naming convention for stages. The main stage will be renamed ‘The Grid’, while the second stage becomes ‘The Gallery’. The festival will also introduce ‘The Warehouse’, a purpose-built venue dedicated to dance music featuring high-end screen production and viewing platforms. Other new stage concepts include ‘The Ballroom’, which will feature unique decor such as chandeliers, and ‘The Canopy’, designed to showcase emerging talent. At the Reading site, ‘The Yard’ will offer an industrial, open-air club atmosphere.

The 2026 lineup features various artists including Skepta, Loyle Carner, Blossoms, and Maisie Peters. The structural updates aim to elevate the overall attendee experience through immersive environments and specialized musical zones.
