Spanish club Real Betis announced that it will play a pre‑season friendly against Italy's Inter Milan on 15 August at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari, with kickoff set for 19:30. The match was arranged after the start of the new La Liga season was postponed, freeing a slot that had previously been allocated to other friendlies, such as those against Arsenal and AFC Bournemouth.

The friendly is part of both teams' preparations for the upcoming campaign. Inter will open its season a week later on 21 August against Real Sociedad, while Betis will begin its La Liga campaign on 21 August against Real Sociedad at the Cartuja stadium.
