Real España appoints Spanish coach Juan Ignacio Martínez

Real España has announced the hiring of Spanish coach Juan Ignacio Martínez to lead the team. Martínez, who has extensive international experience with clubs such as Levante UD and Real Zaragoza, has signed a contract through 2027.

Martínez will succeed Jeaustin Campos. Real España president Elías Burbara addressed the transition, noting that Mauro Reyes will manage the team for the upcoming match against Motagua before the new appointment is officially finalized. Burbara also indicated that the club is in communication with Campos’s legal team to resolve outstanding salary claims following his departure.

Martínez is expected to make his debut on October 11 against CD Estrella Roja. Real España currently holds second place in the league standings.
