Real Estate Brokerages AI Adoption Nears Full Saturation
A three‑year Delta Media Group survey shows that only about 2% of U.S. real‑estate brokerages have no plans to adopt artificial intelligence in 2026, down from 10.6% in 2024. The share of brokerages reporting no AI use at all fell to 3.9% this year, compared with 24.8% in 2024.
Mid‑size firms (101–500 agents) have caught up with the largest brokerages (500+ agents), with both segments reporting 100% agent AI usage in 2026. The only segment still lagging is the smallest independent brokerages with fewer than 10 agents, where adoption remains uneven.
Brokerage leaders are rating AI’s importance higher than before—47.6% gave it an 8 or above on a 10‑point scale, up from 28.7% a year earlier. Preference for all‑in‑one marketing platforms that include AI and automation also rose, with 51.5% rating such platforms an 8 or higher. "Every year we run this survey, the story is less about who is trying AI and more about who still has not," said Michael Minard, CEO of Delta Media Group.
