Real estate firms report diverse third-quarter 2026 results

Major real estate and investment firms have released financial updates for the third quarter of 2026, showing varied performance across residential, retail, and industrial sectors.

Altarea confirmed its 2026 guidance, reporting a rise in new housing order volumes and restored profitability. The company noted a strong increase in residential revenue from new-generation projects and highlighted new developments in data centers, including projects in Rennes and Vélizy. Altarea expects a significant increase in funds from operations (FFO) for the full year.

First Industrial Realty Trust reported third-quarter results characterized by a 52% increase in cash rental rates on new and renewal leases. The company acquired a 764,000 square foot building in Central Pennsylvania for $120 million and increased its 2026 FFO guidance. CEO Peter E. Baccile noted improving industrial market fundamentals and strong tenant demand.

Icade provided a nine-month trading update, maintaining its 2026 guidance despite a 4% decrease in consolidated revenue. The company completed the disposal of healthcare assets in Portugal, generating approximately €115 million in net proceeds, and noted a significant capital gain from the sale of the Marignan building. Icade continues to focus on its asset rotation strategy and cost control.
