Real estate markets show activity in Kaohsiung and Hong Kong
Real estate markets in North Kaohsiung and Hong Kong are showing distinct activity. In Kaohsiung’s Nong 16 Special Zone, the Youzhong Construction pre-sale project ‘16 Qingdi’ has recorded transactions with unit prices reaching the 600,000 TWD per ping range. This trend follows a broader rise in pre-sale prices across the Museum, Nong 16, and Hanshin Arena District, where average prices have stabilized in the 600,000 TWD per ping bracket due to limited supply and high demand for specific locations.
In Hong Kong, the Hung Hom Yinghui project by Henderson Land has seen strong initial interest, receiving 4,085 applications and oversubscribing by more than 28 times during its first round of sales. The 138 units offered via price list have entry prices starting at approximately 5.42 million HKD. Market analysts note that approximately 60% of buyers are end-users, while 40% are investors, with some investors targeting long-term rental yields estimated at 4.7%.
