Real Estate Sector Embraces AI in Spain and Peru
In Spain, Luis Mário Nunes, director general of the ComprarCasa network, says the next phase for agencies is combining artificial intelligence with human expertise. He stresses that trust, professional training and "relational intelligence" will differentiate firms that adopt digital tools from those that rely on outdated practices.
In Peru, Erick Banich, director of operations at Kubiqo Administradora de Inmuebles, reports that 20‑25% of property‑management firms have already deployed smart‑building technologies such as AI‑driven monitoring, intelligent cameras and remote concierge services. He notes that larger complexes—especially in Lima, Arequipa and Piura—are the primary venues for automation, with systems automating lighting, fire‑safety and common‑area management for buildings housing more than 100 families.
