Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars discuss friendship struggles amid personal loss

Angie Katsanevas told U.S. media that her friendship with fellow cast member Mary Cosby is facing “raw challenges,” as both women cope with personal hardships. Mary’s 23‑year‑old son, Robert Cosby Jr., died in February from a suspected drug overdose, prompting a temporary pause in production of season 7 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which later resumed in March.

Katsanevas, who recently separated from her husband after nearly 30 years of marriage, said the upcoming season will highlight deeper bonds among the housewives, noting that “the honeymoon phase is over as your bond deepens.” She described the friendships as “real, raw, and full of both hurt and joy,” and expects viewers to see more authentic interactions when the show airs later this year.
